Taking old World War II photos, Russian photographer Sergey Larenkov carefully photoshops them over more recent shots to make the past come alive. Not only do we get to experience places like Berlin, Prague, and Vienna in ways we could have never imagined, more importantly, we are able to appreciate our shared history in a whole new and unbelievably meaningful way.

I’d seen the first one before, but the rest are new to me. I’m waiting for the new episode of Suits to start, but Burn Notice is taking too long! I don’t get this show. Is it like an action show but with dramatic scientific explanations along the way? Spent the time being clicking through these and trying to imagine what the people back then would have thought of the World the ground they walked on would become. The here and now. What’s our world going to become in the next 68, 70 years?
